Facial steaming is great for all skin types. It’s particularly beneficial for oily and congested skin. The best way of steaming is simple, use a boiling hot bowl of water with added essential oils of lavender, rose geranium and eucalyptus. Place your head over a bowl (careful not too close as you may burn your nose) and inhale deeply the vapour of essential oil blend – this will help clear lungs, relax facial muscles, as well as deep cleanse skin. Afterwards, use a cool damp cloth and press into the face to help tone the skin and close the pores. Steaming at home helps boost circulation, decongest pores and brightens up a dull looking skin.
