Everyone faces a slump at work, so here are some tips to stay motivated:

1. Clarify your goals, don’t just go through the day in a haphazard way. Stay focused and visualise achieving them.

2. Have a clear and concise game-plan for achieving your goals and objective. A blueprint for success.

3. Enjoy the success of each completed goal. Give yourself a pat on the back to keep motivated and bursting with enthusiasm.

4. Reward yourself with a treat once you have reached a significant goal.

5. Always keep things in perspective. Remind yourself why you work and what it helps you achieve in life. Work is work and not your whole life, just part of it.

6. Maintain a healthy work/life balance. Make time for the things you love, partners, family, hobbies, running etc.

7. Think positive, negative thoughts are contagious and can spiral. No matter how small, focus on the positive and avoid feeling negative. Listen to some music and try to steer away from people with negative attitudes.
