VERDI’S MUMBLES – MY LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN!

Ever since the 70’s, when I lived in Italy for 5 years, I had been searching for that quintessential Italian Cafe that not just offers a FAB cappuccino, but is done so with the friendly and efficient service that can only be found in Italy.

Then Verdi’s opened in Mumbles and my search was over.

Verdi’s is a family run CafΓ©, Ice Cream Parlour and Licensed Restaurant with a reputation for authentic Italian flavour and quality. They make fabulous coffees and have over 30 flavours of ice-cream. They are situated on the sea front in the Victorian fishing village of Mumbles in Swansea – the birthplace of Dylan Thomas.

The location, Knab’s Rock, offers the most amazing view from the village of Mumbles across the Bay of Swansea, which is what makes it so popular. This is not Swansea’s best kept secret, as it is packed even in January on the coldest, wettest, windiest day. Every one of its 400 seats offers an amazing panoramic view.

Sitting with my latte or capuccino, gazing at the view is a little bit of heaven for me. Relax, enjoy and just chill! Followed by a stroll along The Promenade!
