Celebrity Beauty Secrets

Some Celebrity Beauty Secrets are a little mad but here are four that made total sense to me:

1. Kate Moss immerses her face in a sink full of iced water and cucumber if she is looking puffy and tired. Great for revitalising and tightening the skin. It also reduces appearance of redness, although bear in mind that extreme changes of temperature may promote redness.

2. Salma Hayek says her flawless complexion is down to not washing her face in the morning but just splashes it with cold water. At night skin replenishes it’s own natural oil – sebum – which is the best moisturiser ever, so why wash it away? Skin should be well cleansed at night time.

3. Tess Daly drinks boiled water, an hour before bedtime. It helps flush away toxins, good for circulation and keeps skin clear and eyes shiny. Ridding the body of toxins will also ensure vital organs are performing at their optimum.

4. Cate Blanchett has a recipe for homemade exfoliator. Using a combination of Olive and Macadamia nut oils, mixed with grapefruit juice and sea salt, provide a body exfoliator with a zing! Exfoliator and moisturiser in one.

I shall be trying all four and reviewing over time.
